Home health nursing (sometimes referred to as visiting nursing) serves a critical role in the healthcare system by allowing patients more opportunity to make decisions about their care. As allowed by state law, Interim HealthCare of Miami, Miami Beach and Doral offers in-home nursing care provided by Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) or Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs). These nurses provide a valuable service to their patients by helping them stay healthier, reducing costs, and helping them avoid hospitals.

It might be temporary (to assist during rehabilitation following a surgery), or on a more long-term basis. Visiting nurses can take on just one or two assessments, more extensive daily care and support, or provide a full time live-in presence.

We can help with everything from learning to use an at-home medical device to learning to manage chronic pain or chronic diseases such as COPD, diabetes, coronary artery disease, and congestive heart failure.
